With your support, we aim at establishing vidarchives.gr as a valid and comprehensive informational database on Industrial Archaeology and Heritage of Greece. This website will hopefully make a positive contribution to research and will mobilise all of us towards the preservation and protection of Greek industrial monuments. It is obvious that this effort goes far beyond the mere recording or appreciation of these monuments. It is part of an overall effort to save the memory of trades and social economic activities which have become extinct, as well as to record each industrial site, thus contributing to a broader understanding of our technical culture.
